It's a me - Christina!!
 This was my final project for my Drawing 1 class - a self portrait. It's charcoal on Reeves BVK paper (I think that's waht it was called...). About 6 hours total. Just drawing the outline of my face shape took half an hour!! *sucks at drawing people* The shading took about 2 or 3, and everything in between was doing correct measurements for my eyes, lips, nose, etc. The curly parts of my pigtails suck (my professor even mentioned that in our group critique). )': Curly hair is hard to highlight!! NO. That key is not from Kingdumb Hearts!! D:< I think the reason why I wear it comes across perfectly well in the drawing. :3 DO I LOOK LIKE A SMARTASS!?! That's the look I was going for.  I was happy when Jason (my prof.) told me I properly integrated the text into my drawing because I "remembered that text is just marks" and I didn't line the letters up perfectly or anything, and that the text fits the drawing well because of my expression. X3 What do you guys think???  Sorry I haven't submitted any digital art in a while!! (Maybe that will change after winter break??) I'll try to get some other stuff up--promise!! |
